Our next sale is here and it is a whole house estate sale at a Farm House located at 1465 Lycoming Mall Rd in Fairfield Township, Muncy PA. This home is one story ranch with finished basement loaded with lots of great items. We will be open Thur 7/23 8:30-3pm, Fri 7/24 8:30-2pm. See below for important parking instructions, photos & information.
Directions to the sale. Please proceed to the Lycoming Mall Exit from I-180. Proceed North on Lycoming Mall Road and go about 1-1/4 miles from Wentzler’s Farm. Parking will be difficult if we have a crowded start. There will be some parking available along the side of the road the home is on and on the home’s property. Other property may have some ability to park on the sides of the road, but do not block or use neighboring driveways and you can also park at the church parking lot at the top of the hill which is north and a little bit further up the road from the home. We ask that you please park carefully and ensure that you can get out safely. This road is traveled extensively and some people go rather fast up and down the roads. We will be placing signs instructing people to “Slow Down” “Sale Ahead”, but you know how some people are, so once again, be careful.
This sale will be worth coming to with a lot of items for purchase and well worth the trip. To begin with, we have a really nice Queen Size bed and a twin bed set. We have a beautiful antique oak dresser with mirror. We have a very nice lane Cedar Chest in one of the bedrooms too. There are also some other dressers and nightstands in both bedrooms to purchase including both modern and more antique oak dressers and chests. In the living room area, there is lots of beautiful solid oak furniture including an awesome entertainment stand that would fit nearly any size flat panel tv on a stand, a very pretty Oak Cabinet which can also double as a sofa table/cabinet, end tabled, Coffee table and more! We also have a very nice Sleeper Sofa in the living room with a blue upholstery and some cream and other colors which would blend into any décor you might have. There is a floral recliner, a table with lamp built-in, and other wooden chairs also available in the home’s living room. In the outer living room there is a beautiful old farm table made of solid oak and has a total of seven 10” leafs for placement in the table. Without leafs, the table measures 42”x 42” and with the leafs the table expands to 112” long. This table comes from a former farm in the Muncy Valley area and has been used by this family for years! In the dining area and kitchen area, we have an older drop leaf table as well as an Oak Bench and another burgundy recliner too. Outdoors we have an outdoor table with chairs and other outdoor chairs available at this sale!
In appliances, this home does have a washing machine and an electric dryer as well as a 7-year-old Frigidaire Refrigerator/Freezer for sale. There is a DVD and a VCR Player for this sale and a nice large flat panel TV and several smaller flat panel TV’s. We also have smaller appliances including a Sewing machine, Microwave, Ninja Food blender, and other small appliances including a 3-section Buffet Server/Warmer from Oster. There is a working Edenpure Quartz electric heater for sale. No sale would be complete without the Famous George Foreman Lean Mean Grilling Machine!
In cameras and optics there is a Nikon D3300 Camera with lens for anyone looking for a great Digital SLR camera. We also have a Canon T50 camera too. There are several pair of binoculars as well as a spotting scope in this sale.
In primitive and interesting items, we have several Singletrees, A cast iron scalding pot, a wooden stirring stick, several older wooden tools for the kitchen such as spoons and rolling pins, several crocks, Baskets, and Crates for decoration, and a nice collection of enamel baking pans with lids! If you need old sleighbells to add to your inventory, we have several strands and even some loose bells for any repairs you might need to make! We also have an old brass school bell as well as an older weight scale. Of particular note we have a copper English Captains horn that would have been used when Fox Hunting. Then there is a really special piece which is a pre-civil war sword featuring a beautiful brass head handle in its original scabbard. In the basement we also have a two-man cross-cut saw and a one man hand cross cut saw hanging up so be sure to look up when you are in the basement!
We also have lots of household goods and décor items at this sale too! Beginning with a large selection of Table Lamps and a few floor lamps too, We have several sets of silverware, serving utensils and more in the way of food preparation items. We are selling other décor items and figurines as well as items which have a country feel!
In hunting and fishing, we have hunting apparel, gun cleaning supplies and tools, scent covers, duck and turkey calls, tree stands, a Bow, some arrow points, an arrow Fletching tool, Holsters for Pistols and handguns, a tackle box with lots of lures and supplies, several rods and reels, Big Game shooting platform, a weighted Caldwell Lead Sled Plus rifle shooting rest for the shooting range, and much more! There is several soft cases and one hard case for rifles too!
In exercise equipment there is an older Lifestyler Treadmill from Sears as well as a health rider and an exercise bike. We even have an Everlast punching bag with boxing gloves.
In tools, we have everything under the sun and we have things you can use in the house too! Starting with gardening tools such as rakes, shoves, digging irons, sledgehammers, and other tools such as log splitting wedges, ¾” heavy duty SK Socket set, wrenches, pliers, snips, screwdrivers, bone and meat saw, hand saws, plus lots more! We also have fasteners of all kinds available at this sale! In power tools we have a Craftsman Professional grade routing table with a ½ HP router installed on it, circular saws, drills, chainsaw sharpener, Disc and belt sander, several grinding benches, scroll saw, floor jack, railroad jack, jack stands, Catalytic Heat with LP tank, and much more in the way of power tools. There is also a nice large shop vacuum.
In outdoor equipment we have a really powerful gasoline powered water pump on pneumatic tires, an equally powerful craftsman gasoline powered pressure washer, an awesome 26 ton gas powered log splitter, a 29” Craftsman Snow Blower which practically looks new, a walk-behind brush hog, a John Deere walk-behind mower, Stihl Chain saw, a practically new Poulan 18’ pole chainsaw, Craftsman hedge trimer and much more at this sale both outside and inside the home.
For the gardener or for the small plot farmer, we have some great weedkillers available and we even have a pump and tank attachment for the back of a mower or tractor for spraying those items.
We also have cleaning supplies, lubricants, spray paints, oils, and other items such as storage totes which you will find at bargain prices!
There is a nice selection of VHS and DVD’s for your entertainment and, as always, we have a whole area of the home available for box lots!
